Abstract: CNOOC Zhongjie Petrochemical Co., Ltd. introduced prime G+ selective hydrodesulfurization process and catalyst developed by French Axens Company to reduce the sulfur content of FCC gasoline and to produce the blending components of national VI gasoline. The unit was successfully started up in 2016. In 2017, the arsenic content of the FCC gasoline was higher than 90 μg/L. Subsequently, a new arsenic removal reactor was added in the unit, and Axens’s arsenic removal catalyst was selected. According to the statistics of operation results, good arsenic removal effect was achieved, the subsequent use requirements of desulfurization catalyst were met, the service life of the unit was prolonged, and there was little effect on the properties of hydrogenated gasoline.
